Britain at the Crossroads

“Daddy, what did you do during the great betrayal?”

A former bodyguard to the late Gazan leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, was given asylum in Britain over a decade ago, despite public knowledge of his Hamas role. Changing his legal name more than once, “Mr X” (whose lawyer argues that identifying him would prejudice his trial) worked as an IT consultant, and was apparently not a priority for the security services. That was until last Autumn, when Mossad and the German intelligence services learnt of a plot to target Jewish community centres, pro-Israel demonstrations and Israeli diplomats around the October 7 anniversary, and tipped off the National Crime Agency. Mr X is alleged to have filmed a masked Hamas video, and to have been involved in the movement of guns and ammunition to Vienna. A Westminster magistrates’ court judge initially granted him anonymity for 100 years, before the Sunday Times successfully challenged it. Mr X will be unmasked when his UK case ends.

Timing is everything in politics, and it is unlikely to be a coincidence that the same weekend these bombshell revelations were made, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood is set to announce new “safe and legal” routes for Afghans and Palestinians – who will be granted immediate indefinite leave to remain, unlike other “refugees” whose status is checked every 30 months.

Ladies and gentlemen, I submit to you that whatever you think a government is for, this ain’t it. And it certainly isn’t worth paying through the nose for!

I do not consider myself guilty of hyperbole when I say that Britain is on the brink. The situation we find ourselves in could not conceivably be any worse. Yes, great wars have been fought by the great British people – but at least back then, we knew we were fighting, and why. The current scenario is one where the powers that be are openly, wilfully and enthusiastically bringing in a daily dispatch of rapists, murderers and terrorists (along with the doctors, engineers and NHS workers, naturally), while forcing the public to pay for the privilege. It claims it can do nothing to prevent this influx, and yet when a Dad’s Army of volunteers proves just how simple it would be to prevent, the authorities leap into action to jail them.

As I wrote back in 2019 on this decades-long government betrayal:

“There has never before been a moment in history when a nation chaperoned the enemy into its own castle, made his bed, gave him a generous allowance, the key to his wife’s chastity belt, apologised for the place not being in better shape, and then flogged the outraged servants for daring to question whether this might not be ill-conceived. That is what our politicians have so far colluded to do.”

Bear in mind of course, this is only the things we have been allowed, accidentally, to know.

At every single stage of the game, we are instructed not to speculate, because doing so might prejudice the trial – a trial invariably dragged out for as long as humanly possible. Whether it’s terrorism, Islam, gang-rape, attempted mass murder, or plain old jihad, the Old Bill’s insistence we do not use our brains is their one, overriding concern – just as it was at the latest terror incident at RAF Fairford:

British police are asking people “not to speculate” about the attempted Muslim terror attack on a military base because it might offend the Muslim terrorists.

The one exception is when the white working-class attempts to put a stop to it. Then we never need to speculate, because the government does it for us:

Despite this relentless wave of attacks, despite the blatant two-tier society Britain has become, and despite the obvious betrayal from Westminster, the British people have largely not responded. Nothing it seems, can coordinate them to rise as one: not the mass rape of the nation’s children; not the Home Office waiving through known criminals (even potential ISIS members), just to clear the asylum backlog; not the lies over Southport; not the spurious human rights laws that block the deportation of murderers’ (nor the shameless MPs who write to oppose it); not even convicted terrorists standing in our elections. At every juncture, it seemed we might have reached the last straw. We had not. Exactly what version of treason would the British government have to commit to garner the appropriate response?!

If you will indulge me and forgive my anger, I should like to make three points about the crossroads at which we now find ourselves:

  1. No one is coming to save us. The powers that be, whatever they may sell us at election time, are not going to course-correct voluntarily. It also seems increasingly likely that we are not voting ourselves out of this situation any time soon – partly because of the fractious state of the Right, and more so because Nigel Farage (I believe) simply will not be allowed to win a general election, and may even be blocked from enacting change were he to do so.

  2. Those still cowed by the Left’s buzzwords (“racist”, “far-right”, “extremist”, “privileged white male” etc) are going to have to toughen up. Unlike the Prime Minister, who took to Laura Kuenssberg this weekend to discuss the thorny issue of exactly how ‘racist’ Danny Tommo might be, I confess I’m tired of that game. In fact, I couldn’t’ care less if Danny Tommo were the last surviving Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. He has done more to protect the nation’s borders and daughters in a couple of weeks than the entire establishment has done in years. That is why he is now languishing in jail, and our politicians are not.

  3. None of us get to sit this one out. You have to make a decision: you’re in or you’re out. The stakes are simply too high; the betrayal too blatant. Perhaps years ago, the well-heeled among us correctly believed they were immune to the consequences of their voting patterns. Piddington revealed how wrong they were.

Every man and woman must now actually do something – I don’t particularly care what it is, but it must be a positive step in defence of Britain, rather than acquiescence to our fate. Set up a neighbourhood-watch group, or join one. Write a post, or share one. Write to your MP demanding they take action, and letting them know that their inaction will have consequences. Display your flag proudly on your property. Donate to Danny Tommo’s legal fund. Go on a protest. Refuse to pay your council tax. Everyone can do something.

I believe that this government (like so many before it) is now openly committing treason against the British people, and it must therefore be made to fall. Without mass, coordinated civil disobedience, this is what is likely to happen: Labour will limp on until 2029 – at which point the voting blocs will be even more stacked against us, the Right will be even less likely to unite, 100,000 more illegals will have been brought in (on current trajectory), and God knows how many more preventable crimes will have been committed.

There must come a point when the nation decides enough is enough, and when day-to-day concerns must be put on the back burner. With this latest revelation, I cannot understand why the entire country is not shut down, and every able-bodied member of the public out in protest at what the crimes the authorities are committing in plain sight.

It does not have to be like this. Border control, accountability, transparency, and the even hand of the law are not Utopian naivety. They are the bear minimum a people can tolerate from its elected representatives.

The time has come to choose: whose side are you on? It really is that simple.
