I only came in halfway through the Idris Elba programme but it was noticeable that nobody appeared to think maybe parents had something to do with their children's upbringing! All those blokes with the fake patois that a certain type likes to adopt banging on about having been a bad'un but having seen the error of their ways they are now role models. No mention of the lack of fathers. No mention of anyone actually taking responsibility for rearing children. The young chap who has a lady police officer as his mentor - where's his mother? his father? his grandparents?

And we all know that, unless we actually start doing a Trump and deporting anyone here illegally and anyone here who, regardless of where and when they were born, refuses to become British, things will just get worse and worse. I notice that the Black population have gone off the idea of being Jamaican now and all want to identify as African - well, maybe they need to be given the airfare to their chosen ancestral home? Might knock a bit of sense into them! As for anyone identifying as a Muslim - deport all of them because I don't notice the "good" ones protesting about the "bad" ones.

Spot on again Frank.

Those who are happy to hyper-focus on the 'intersections' of race, gender and sexuality seem to have traded in their ability to focus on culture. There is a culture which surrounds knife crime, pulsing to the percussive rhythm of Drill music (and Grime before it), which almost all commentators are unwilling to face.
