Excellent article, which should be required reading by all MPs and public servants. Had we been allowed to "unsheath the pen" earlier, much misery and bloodshed would have been avoided. The sensible response to an alien religion or ideology would have been scepticism, ridicule and rational rebuttal, but unfortunately our literate classes have been cowed into self-doubt and self-hatred.

I'd like to mention this point:

" whether our cowardly leaders will force Western values to adapt to the 7th century barbarism they seem determined to import."

It might be thought to support the view that as we have to accept the Muslims into our society, we have to do something about their religious expression. But there is absolutely no reason why we had to accept the Muslims in the first place. The UK was not improved by allowing millions of relatively low-skilled people from less advanced low-trust societies to come and live here. The fewer the Muslims, the smaller the problem with Islam.

I honestly don't know whether Starmer is a psychopath or driven ideologue who wants to undermine British culture and living standards, or whether he is a terrified over-promoted civil servant. But on this issue, it looks to be the latter. He cannot tell Muslims in the House of Commons to sit down and shut up, because he would lose core votes, strengthen the likes of Galloway and other pro-Islamic MPs, and risk Muslim riots in Bradford and Luton. His only strategy seems to be to continue feeding the crocodile. Which is growing in size and appetite.

'The proposed definition of Islamophobia does not combat hatred; it invites it.'

The current derangements of Climate, COVID and all forms of Wokeism ARE imaginary but we are being forced to accept that they aren't.

The sinister influence of Islam is NOT imaginary but we are being forced to accept that it is.
