It's nice to have so many reminders that diversity is our greatest strength.

Machete battles, gang rapes, Notting Hill Carnival, "small boats" with as many passengers as a jumbo jet.

Seems like every day is a Camp of the Saints tribute..

Hoping for your sake that no one who reads this has heard of Camp of the Saints, let alone read it.

I have read it.

Spoiler alert - it doesn't have a happy ending.

Don’t want you getting into trouble. You’re no good in the gulag.

Cry havoc and let slip the wogs of war.

I said exactly the same on another thread. Cordon it off and leave them to it. Many there hate the police, hate the state. So let them have a few days without it. Who knows, it might work?

In contrast , Glastonbury should have no fence and be open borders. Ship the asylum seekers there to cohabit with those who welcome them.

The state really does need to start giving these people what they ask for.

" Those attending feared being attacked, sexually assaulted or trampled and 88.6% felt unsafe"

would I be thought a bit quaint if I asked why the hell did they not stay at home?

The Martyr's avatar

The words that send every purple haired lefty into apoplexy spring to mind “asking for it”.

From Left to Right's avatar

The 88% feeling unsafe had seen an England flag. Or a job application form.

As a fellow miserable bastard, this event strikes me as a glorified douchebags' convention.

We should just get all the machete fighters into a stadium and let them fight it out. Charge for tickets. Make some money out of a modern day gladiator games.

I like your solution! In fact, why make it just annual? A monthly event in which participants can assault each other with whatever weapons they like sounds just dandy. And we could sell off safe viewing points (or the owners of houses/flats could) and generate revenue to repair the damage. A great business opportunity and Channel Four, BBC et al could really beat the beat the drum for diversity.

Bravo, Frank. It was a terrifying nonsense 50 years ago.

I've never attended and never will. How undiverse is that?

Yea, I was going to go but not being either black or a white middle class screeching libtard disqualifies me.

The 👹 carnival. Unfortunately there does not appear to be a tipping point for rapes, assaults & murders, knife crime & any other illegal act not named in the above that would end this dangerous debacle. The more worrying aspect it mirrors the current 💩 show across the UK. 👿👿

What's with all this age-restricted content? FFS at the tender age of 71 if I can't make up my own mind about what I do and don't want to see it's a fucking travesty!!

Data collecting, another way of making money. It's ridiculous.

Raymond Adams's avatar

Many peaceful marches get banned or relocated but this dangerous travesty gets complete compliance from the people at the top of the police and councils who obviously will not be attending .

David Waddington's avatar

Can we not turn it into a version of the Hunger Games?

Cikatriz's avatar

It's more like The Purge really.

Back in the early 70s it was a fun event. It's now too big, too 'political' and too dangerous - especially for older participants.

It's basically a non white booze fest only so if the queers and the kaffirs want to have a go at each other I say why not the more kaffirs and queers that get killed is only a bonus,

John's avatar

If you're referring to gay men and women in your term 'queers", quite honestly we wouldn't be seen dead anywhere near Notting Hill this weekend!!
