Oh dear Frank, so they banged you up after all. It's quite appalling how the courts just assume children should stay with mothers and fathers are merely afterthoughts and financial sources. A cousin of mine discovered his partner had chosen to father a child through him because she figured he wouldn't stay around. He did. She set the police on him many times, even armed police at one point. He fought all the way and ended up with access to his daughter but it was an awful struggle which showed that society doesn't really value fathers as parents. I really hope you manage to see your way through all this - your children will eventually appreciate your sacrifices.
