Oxfam, or the “Oxford Committee for Famine Relief,” as it was initially known when it was founded in 1942, is a charity I’d always believed in, until recently that is.
I lived in south africa for 40 years and saw no help from charities for the indigenous people.Charity has become the new religion making money for the chosen few.

Having experienced discrimination on the basis of my identity whilst serving in HMS Mauritius in the early 70's (Before we colonialists closed down all our foreign military bases) do you think I'd have just cause for reparation having been accused of being 'A white ni99er' by the then locally employed person who ran the Junior Rates mess known to one and all as 'Sockit' (His Indian moniker was quite unpronounceable) I learned later that Sockit was run over and killed by a taxi driver in Vacoas so I'm probably flogging a dead horse from the off. o|---)
